David Mark Replies - I Didn’t Give Tuface N47m Car As Wedding Gift

David Mark, the President of Nigerian Senate has denied giving any car to the award winning musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface, and his wife, Annie, as a wedding gift contrary to wide speculation in the media.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, the senate president also said he did not attend the musician’s wedding in Dubai last weekend.
“The President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, did not give a N47m Ferrari car to Tuface Idibia contrary to wild stories being circulated on social sites.”
The Senate President’s spokesperson described as a puerile lie story that  Senator Mark bought a Ferrari car worth N47m for Tuface.
He described the rumour on the car gift as “wicked, ridiculous and irresponsible.”
According to him “Senator Mark did not visit Dubai for Tuface wedding rather he attended the 128th Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference currently holding in Quito, Ecuador.
He was also not represented at Mr. Idibia’s wedding.”
“The President of the Senate, Senator Mark, did not make a car donation of any kind to Tuface before departing Nigeria for Ecuador neither did he purchase nor send any car to Dubai as a wedding gift for the musician or his wife,” Ologbodiyan, who challenged anyone with contrary information to come up with it, added.
