50Cent To Feature On Emeka Ike’s Movie!!
You might not want to believe this but the story is going round that 50 cent is coming down to Nigeria to star in a movie produced by Emeka Ike ... this would be a big thing for nollywood
A source close to Ike disclosed that the movie is a spin off of the actor’s involvement with the training of ex-militants from the Niger Delta, a project he is so dedicated to. “This is a big one for Nollywood. As you read this, plans have been concluded to bring 50 Cent to Nigeria to feature in a new movie. And guess what?
He would be starring alongside Nigerian big names including ex-militants who have renounced violence for peace. The ex-militants underwent special training in acting, cinematography and the basics of filmmaking and production under Emeka Ike in Ghana.
This is the first of such films; many more are on the way. The objective is to practically demonstrate how movies could be used as a tool for empowering restive Nigerian youths,” the source states. Skoops further learnt that work on the movie will begin before the end of the first quarter of this year.

CBS Asks Grammy Stars to Cover up Boobs and Genitals
America’s CBS network is reportedly requesting that “buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered” for the televised award show, which will include performances from the likes of Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift.
The memo sent out on Wednesday also warned against “see-through clothing”, exposure of “the genital region” and said that “thong type costumes are problematic”.
Representatives for CBS and the Recording Academy declined to comment on Thursday. Deadline Hollywood first reported the memo.
CBS broadcast the infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that included Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction”.
The network was initially fined by the Federal Communications Commission, though the fine was later overturned.
The 55th annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday February 10 at LA’s Staples Centre.

Channels TV Presenter Joe Ighile Die On Set
Death came calling
unexpectedly last night for the Head of Sports Channels Television Joe Ighile
when he died while presenting the 9’0clock Sports programme live.
Joe,who introduced the
programme,on suspecting some discomfort, asked for a break on television and
requested to be taken to the hospital immediately.
Few minutes after getting the hospital ,he was pronounced dead.

“ Heart of a Widow”shot in Enugu.
According to reports, Mercy was paid handsomely to shave her hair. Mercy however did not disappoint the producers of the movie, Magic Movies Limited who did everything possible to get her on the set. While the movie was yet to hit the screens then, Mercy’s fans were already visiting the shelves and cinema centres to see the movie.

Dbanj To Perform At AFCON Finals
Organisers of the AFCON 2013,
have confirmed that Nigerian superstar, D’Banj, will be performing at the
closing ceremony of the continental fiesta.
The Kokomaster, is responsible for the motivational ditty, ‘Top of
the World’, and will be thrilling a full capacity crowd at the National Stadium
in Crown Mines outside Soweto, on Sunday evening.
“I am honoured and words fail to describe the warmth I get from my
fans in this country,” D’Banj said. “I am looking forward to having more than
6.6-billion viewers globally watch my performance.”
Local acts such as Micasa, Kelly Khumalo, Zonke Dikana, and
Thembisile Ntaka, will also share the stage with D’Banj, after the final match.
