Nigerians spoke for 42.75 billion minutes in 2011 — NCCv

Talk time on telecommunications networks in Nigeria declined by 15.62 billion minutes in 2011, the Nigerian Communications Commission has said.
Information obtained from the website of the regulatory agency on Thursday showed that Nigerians spoke for 58.37 billion minutes in 2010. This, however, declined to 42.75 billion minutes by 2011.
The traffic statistics provided by NCC showed that the talk time for 2010 was made up of 28,571,707,002 outgoing minutes and 29,794,223,434 incoming minutes.
The 2011 statistics, on the other hand, were made up of 20,822,689,700 outgoing minutes and 21,924,116,054 incoming minutes.
This showed that between 2010 and 2011, talk time on the networks declined by 15,619,154,682 minutes or by 26.78 per cent.
