No fewer than six persons were killed while 16 others sustained
injuries Sunday in a ghastly motor accident along Bauchi/Maiduguri road,
about 15 kilometres from the state capital, Bauchi.
THISDAY checks revealed that the accident, which took place around 8.14
am, involved a Nissan Urban 18-seater bus with registration number
AA996TFB and a motorcycle with no registration number.
An eyewitness revealed that the motorcycle rider was the cause of the
accident because he crossed the road without observing if a vehicle was
coming and in the process collided with the bus.
